Web design in Ballito, by a consultancy that is based here
Stryx Collective is based in Salt Rock and has traded since 2019. This is its home market, not a service area added to a list. Founder Ryan Cumming has been building websites for 10 years, and clients deal with him directly.
For a business looking for a web designer in Salt Rock or website design in Ballito, that means meetings can happen in person, and the person in the meeting is the lead consultant on the project.

What North Coast websites have to do
The local economy is not a generic small-business market. It runs on a few specific things, and each one asks something different of a website.
Villa and holiday rentals. The site has to take an enquiry or booking and get it to the right property. Hospitality is Stryx's first focus industry. Stryx has connected websites to property management systems such as Guesty and Hostaway.
Estates and property. Buyers and tenants research on their phones, often on mobile data. Pages have to load quickly and make it obvious how to enquire.
Hospitality. Hotels, lodges and venues need the booking or reservation path to work on a phone without friction. WordPress is usual when a site needs bookings, reservations or forms.
Medical practices. Healthcare is Stryx's second focus industry. Stryx has integrated booking systems such as Bookem with WordPress websites so clients can book online. A practice site handles personal information, so POPIA applies. Stryx acts as the client's operator, and the operator contract is part of the service agreement. Stryx can give guidelines on what a practice should look for and have in place. It makes no warranty that a site will be compliant, and practices should consult their own legal counsel.
Businesses serving the estates. These depend on local search. Local SEO, including Google Business Profile work, is covered on the SEO in Ballito page.
How Stryx differs from other local options
Every project starts with research into business goals, audience, keywords, competitors and content gaps. Stryx is a specialist consultancy, not a volume agency. Sites are built on a staging server, and clients follow progress in a client portal. Stryx also builds automations with Make.com between systems such as booking and accounting software. Tracking for enquiries, calls and bookings is set up at launch, and results are measured on those numbers.

Questions
Questions about Web design in Ballito and the North Coast
Can't see yours? Ask Ryan directly and you'll get a straight answer, usually the same day.
Ask on WhatsAppWhere is Stryx Collective based?
Stryx is based in Salt Rock, Ballito, on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast. It has traded since 2019.
Can we meet in person in Ballito or Salt Rock?
Yes. Stryx is based in Salt Rock, so in-person meetings are easy to arrange. Clients meet Ryan Cumming, the founder and lead consultant.
Does Stryx build websites for villa and holiday rental businesses?
Yes. Hospitality is Stryx's first focus industry. Stryx has connected websites to property management systems such as Guesty and Hostaway. The same kind of work applies to North Coast villa and holiday rental operators.
Can Stryx help a Ballito business show up in local searches?
Yes. Local SEO, including Google Business Profile work, is one of Stryx's services. SEO is a monthly service and is measured on enquiries, calls and bookings.
How long does a website take to build?
A typical website project takes about 6 to 8 weeks. Complexity, and how quickly content and feedback come back, can make it shorter or longer.
Do you only build in WordPress?
No. WordPress is the usual recommendation for sites that need custom functionality such as bookings, reservations or forms. Where another platform fits better, such as Shopify for e-commerce, Stryx recommends that.
Who owns the website when it is finished?
You do. Once the project is paid in full, the website and the visual elements created for you are yours.
How does payment work?
50% is paid up front and secures your place in the work queue. The remaining 50% is paid before launch.
Will my site rank on Google?
Every site Stryx builds can be indexed by search engines at launch. Rankings depend on many factors and no one can honestly guarantee them. Ongoing SEO is a separate service.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I rebuild my site?
Old URLs are mapped to the new structure and redirected at launch, which keeps the search visibility the old site had earned.
How do I keep track of the project?
You get a login to a client portal where you can see the stage the project is at and any tasks waiting on you.
What happens after launch?
Bugs that existed before launch are fixed at no extra charge. Hosting, backups, updates and content changes are covered by a website care plan.
