Websites, SEO and Google Ads for hotels, lodges and luxury villas

We design hotel and villa websites, run hotel SEO and manage Google Ads for boutique hotels, lodges, guest houses, farm stays and holiday rentals. The aim is simple: more guests who find you, trust you and book direct, so less of every stay goes to the booking platforms in commission.

Why direct bookings matter

Booking platforms bring guests, but they take a cut of every reservation, and they own the relationship with that guest. A hotel or villa that wins even a share of those bookings back through its own website keeps the commission and gets the guest's details for next time.

Guests usually find you on a booking platform or Google Maps first, then search your name to check you out. If your own site is slow, hard to use on a phone or makes booking awkward, they go back to the platform and book there. A good hospitality website gives them a reason to book direct, and makes it effortless.

What we build for hotels, lodges and villas

  • A website that sells the stay Large photography, the rooms or villas laid out clearly, the experiences around you and what makes the place different, written for the guests you want. See our web design service.
  • Booking built in, not bolted on We connect your booking engine or channel manager so live rates and availability sit inside your site, with a booking button on every page and a clear best-rate message.
  • Pages for each room, villa and experience Separate pages rank for more searches and let ads and emails link straight to the right stay.
  • Fast on every screen We design from the desktop down and build every layout to rescale to any screen size. Many travel searches happen on a phone, so we keep image-heavy pages quick and guests don't give up before they see the rooms.
  • Multilingual and multi-currency where it helps Useful if most of your guests come from abroad.

Hotel SEO

Hotel SEO is about showing up for the searches guests make before they choose where to stay: the area, the type of stay and the occasion, such as "boutique hotel with sea views" or "private villa with a pool". We build pages around those searches, look after your Google Business Profile so you appear in the map results, and add the structured data that helps search engines understand your rooms, rates and reviews. That is the core of our SEO service and local SEO.

Travellers increasingly ask AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews where to stay. We make sure those tools have clear, accurate facts about your property to work with. Read more about AI search optimisation.

Google Ads for hotels and villas

People who search your property's name are close to booking, and the platforms often bid on it. Google Ads campaigns on your own name, plus searches for your area and type of stay, keep those guests on your site. We track bookings and enquiries properly with conversion tracking, so you can see what each direct booking costs compared with the platform commission.

Who we work with

Our hospitality clients include luxury villa collections, boutique hotels, lodges and farm stays, among them The Bliss Collection, Bella Rocca and Karoo One. Every project is run by Ryan Cumming, the founder, from first call to launch.

After launch

Rates, seasons and photos change all the time. Our website care plans cover hosting, updates, backups and small changes, so a new special or a fresh gallery is a quick message, not a project.

Questions

Questions about working with us

Can't see yours? Ask Ryan directly and you'll get a straight answer, usually the same day.

Ask on WhatsApp
How much does a hotel or villa website cost?

It depends on how many rooms, villas or properties you need pages for, which booking engine we connect and whether you need more than one language. We quote after an initial discussion to understand the scope, in your currency, and we can phase the work if you want to start smaller.

Can you connect our existing booking engine?

Usually, yes. Most booking engines and channel managers offer a booking widget or link we can build into your site, so guests see live rates and availability without leaving it. If you don't have one yet, we can help you choose.

Will a new website really reduce what we pay the booking platforms?

It won't replace them, and it shouldn't: they bring guests who would never find you otherwise. What a good website does is win back guests who already know your name, and repeat guests, who would otherwise book through a platform and cost you commission.

What is hotel SEO?

Hotel SEO is the work that helps your property show up in Google when guests search for places to stay in your area or for the type of stay you offer. It covers your website's pages and speed, your Google Business Profile, reviews and structured data about your rooms and rates.

Do you work with villas and holiday rentals as well as hotels?

Yes. Villa collections, single holiday homes, lodges, guest houses and farm stays all need the same things: great photography, clear information about each property, and an easy way to book or enquire. We tailor the build to how you take bookings.

Who owns the website and accounts?

You do. The domain, website, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Analytics accounts are set up in your name, and you keep everything if you ever move on.

  • More enquiries you can trace. You'll see which search, page or ad brought in each call, booking and form.

  • Higher in search results. On Google, in the map results and in AI answers, for the searches your customers make.

  • One person to talk to. Ryan answers on WhatsApp and sends a plain-language report on results every month.
