Web Design & Development

Corporate Website Design & Development

Stryx Collective designs and builds websites for established companies, where several people have a say and the site has to satisfy marketing, IT and compliance at once. You work directly with the lead consultant, the project runs under a written service agreement, and the site is built so your own team can manage it afterwards.

What a larger organisation needs from a web project

  • Clear approvals The project moves in stages, and each stage is signed off before the next starts. Decisions made in week two are not reopened in week six.
  • A fixed scope The proposal sets out what is included. Changes are quoted separately before any extra work is done.
  • One accountable person You deal with Ryan Cumming, the founder and lead consultant, from the first meeting to launch.
  • A site your team can run Content is structured so marketing can update it without a developer, and without breaking the design.
  • Care after launch Hosting, backups and updates continue on a website care plan.

Working with your people

  • Marketing Discovery covers your goals, audience, keywords and competitors, and the site is planned around them.
  • Brand Existing brand guidelines are followed. The site gets a design system so it stays consistent as pages are added.
  • IT DNS, SSL, hosting requirements and any security review are agreed with your IT team before launch.
  • Compliance Legal and regulatory requirements are raised at the start, so they are scoped into the project and not discovered at the end.

Data protection

Where a website collects personal information, such as enquiry forms or account details, it matters who handles that data and how. Stryx's service agreement covers its responsibilities as an operator under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) when it processes personal information on your behalf.

How the project is run

You get a login to a client portal that shows the stage the project is at. When a stage needs your input or approval, a task is assigned to the right person on your side.

The site is built and tested on a staging server before it goes live, so stakeholders review a working site and not a mock-up.

Integrations

A corporate site rarely stands alone. Enquiries usually need to reach a CRM, and other systems often need to exchange data with the site. Stryx builds those connections as part of the project.

Paperwork

A corporate web design project starts with a written proposal and a service agreement, signed electronically. If your procurement process needs supplier forms or a non-disclosure agreement, raise it early and it will be handled before work starts.

The full build process is on the web design and development page.
