How the suggestion is made
- A site that takes payments or bookings always gets at least Premium, because monitoring and malware scans start there.
- How often the content changes sets the monthly hours: 3 on Premium, 5 on Pro.
- If nobody updates WordPress and its plugins now, the plan should, and updates start at Premium.
- The more a day offline would cost, the more the monitoring, hourly backups and faster server on the higher plans are worth.
Not on WordPress?
The care plans are built for WordPress sites. If yours runs on Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify or something custom, the finder suggests a conversation with Ryan first. Sometimes the answer is to move the site to WordPress; sometimes it is to leave it where it is.

What is a website care plan?
A monthly service that looks after a website once it is live: hosting, backups, updates, monitoring and small content changes, with one person to contact. See the care plans page for what each plan includes.
Why is Hosting never suggested for a site that takes bookings?
The Hosting plan has no uptime monitoring, security monitoring or malware scans. A site that takes payments or bookings needs those, so the finder suggests Premium or Pro.
Is the result a quote?
It is a starting point. Ryan looks at the site itself before recommending a plan, and the plans are priced in your local currency.
Are the plans the same in every country?
Yes. Hosting, Premium and Pro include the same service wherever you are, priced in your local currency.
