Website Care Plans
WooCommerce Maintenance
WooCommerce maintenance keeps an online shop on WordPress updated, backed up and taking orders. A shop has more moving parts than an ordinary website, and a broken checkout costs money every hour. Stryx Collective maintains WooCommerce shops on its care plans, with the Pro plan built for e-commerce: hourly backups and a high-performance server.
Why shops need more care
A WooCommerce shop is WordPress plus a shop engine, payment gateways, shipping and often several extensions, each updated on its own schedule. An update that would be harmless on a brochure site can stop a checkout, break a payment gateway or change how prices display.
Orders also change constantly. A daily backup on a busy shop can mean losing a day of orders if the site has to be restored, which is why hourly backups matter.

What WooCommerce maintenance includes
- Careful updates WordPress, WooCommerce, the theme, payment gateways and extensions updated, with risky updates tested on a staging copy first.
- Hourly backups on Pro Stored off-site and kept for 30 days, so very little order data is ever at risk.
- Monitoring Uptime monitoring, security monitoring and malware scans.
- A high-performance server on Pro Shops do more work per visit than ordinary sites, and slow product pages lose buyers.
- Plugin licensing Licences Stryx holds for premium extensions are included. Extensions specific to your shop that Stryx does not normally use are licensed by you.
- Content hours 5 hours a month on Pro for product, page and content changes.
- Reporting A monthly analytics report and a quarterly strategy call.
After updates
Updates on a shop are not finished until the shop still works. The parts that make money, such as product pages, cart, checkout and order emails, are what matter most after a change.
When something breaks
A shop that is down or cannot take orders is dealt with ahead of routine requests. If an update causes a conflict, Stryx works out the fix with you, usually replacing the problem extension, and up to three hours of that work is included. See emergency fixes.
Shops Stryx did not build
Stryx can take over maintenance of an existing WooCommerce shop. It starts with a look at how the shop is built, which extensions it relies on and whether they are licensed and maintained.
See website care plans for how the plans compare, and WooCommerce development for new features or a rebuild.
