SEO Audit

An SEO audit is a structured review of how a website performs in search and why. Stryx Collective audits a site across design, structure, user experience, content and technical SEO, sets out the current position and suggestions for each, and ends with recommendations ranked in three priority tiers, so you know what to fix first.

What the audit covers

A Stryx audit looks at the whole site, because search performance rarely comes down to one thing:

  • Design and brand alignment Whether the site looks and reads like the business it represents, and builds trust with the people it is for.
  • Navigation and structure How pages are organised, whether visitors and search engines can find the important ones, and whether pages compete with each other.
  • User experience How easy it is to use the site on a phone and a desktop, and where visitors are likely to give up.
  • Content and SEO Keywords, page titles, headings, content quality and gaps, internal links and structured data.
  • Technical SEO Crawling, indexing, redirects, speed and the errors Search Console reports. See technical SEO.

How findings are written

Every area is written up the same way:

  • Current position What the site does today, in plain language.
  • Suggestions What should change, and why it matters.

That makes the audit readable by the people who run the business, not just by developers.

Recommendations in three priority tiers

The audit ends with every recommendation ranked into three tiers:

  1. High priority Problems that are costing you visibility or enquiries now, or quick fixes with a large effect.
  2. Medium priority Improvements that matter but can follow the first round.
  3. Lower priority Refinements for when the important work is done.

A long list of issues with no order to it is hard to act on. The tiers turn the audit into a plan.

What happens after the audit

You can take the audit to your own team or developer, or Stryx can do the work. Because Stryx builds and maintains websites as well as optimising them, the fixes can be made in the site itself. Many audits lead into ongoing SEO, a redesign where the problems are in the foundation, or both. If the site is built well, Stryx keeps it.

If your main question is how AI tools see your business, the AI visibility audit is the better starting point.
