Website Redesign Services
Stryx Collective redesigns websites that no longer do their job: sites that look dated, load slowly, are hard to update or have stopped bringing in enquiries. A redesign starts with what the current site's data shows, keeps what works, and protects your search rankings with redirects planned before launch.
Signs it is time
- The site no longer reflects the business
- Enquiries or sales from the site have dropped
- It is slow, or awkward to use on a phone
- Simple content changes need a developer
- The platform or page builder is holding you back

Redesign or rebuild
A website revamp can mean two different things, and it helps to know which you need.
- A redesign changes how the site looks and reads, on the platform you already have.
- A rebuild replaces the foundation: a new platform or page builder, with the design done fresh on top.
If the current build is sound, a redesign is quicker. If it is slow, fragile or hard to edit, new paint will not fix it. Stryx tells you which one your site needs, and why.
What Stryx looks at first
Before anything is designed, the current site is reviewed:
- Which pages bring in search traffic, and for which searches
- Which pages lead to enquiries, bookings or sales
- Where visitors drop off
- What content is missing, compared with competitors
- What the site is built on, and its condition
That review decides what is kept, what is rewritten and what is removed. If the site is built well, Stryx keeps it.
Protecting your rankings
A redesign is the most common way for a business to lose search traffic it spent years earning. To prevent that:
- Every existing URL is listed before the build starts
- Each one is mapped to its new page, and redirected at launch
- Pages that perform well keep their topic and their content
- Titles, headings and internal links are checked before launch
- Search Console is watched after launch, so problems are caught early
Timeline
A typical website project takes about 6 to 8 weeks. Complexity, and how quickly content and feedback come back, move that in either direction.
Stryx starts a couple of new projects a month. Ask when the next opening is.
The full process is on the web design and development page. If you are changing platform or host as well, see website migration.
How it works
How a redesign runs
- 01
Review
Analytics, search data, content and the condition of the current build.
- 02
Plan
What is kept, rewritten or removed, and a map from every old URL to its new page.
- 03
Design
Wireframes, then the visual design and a design system.
- 04
Build
The new site is built on a staging server while the current site stays live.
- 05
Launch
Testing, redirects and tracking checks, then the new site replaces the old one.
- 06
Monitor
Search Console and analytics are checked after launch.

Questions
Questions about Website Redesign Services
Can't see yours? Ask Ryan directly and you'll get a straight answer, usually the same day.
Ask on WhatsAppWill I lose my Google rankings if I redesign my website?
Not if it is planned. Every old URL is mapped to its new page and redirected at launch, and pages that perform well keep their topic and content.
How long does a website redesign take?
A typical project takes about 6 to 8 weeks, depending on complexity and how quickly content and feedback come back.
Can you keep my existing content?
Yes. Content that performs is kept. Content that is thin or out of date is rewritten or removed, and you approve those decisions.
Do I need to change platform to redesign?
Not always. If the current build is sound, the redesign can stay on it. If it is slow or hard to edit, a rebuild on a better foundation is the better investment.
Does my current site stay live during the redesign?
Yes. The new site is built on a staging server and only replaces the old one at launch.
