Background

LDT Learning Solutions (Previously known as LDT Tutors), is a leading Education Company in South Africa offering a wide range of Educational services to students from Grade 0 – 12.

Not only do they offer tutoring, but they have a wide range of Academic Support Services to help students improve their supporting educational skills.

 

The Challenge

Over the years, LDT Learning Solutions has steadily expanded its service offerings to provide students with the best academic support possible across the country.

This expansion meant that their previous brand positioning and name were no longer suitable as they were no longer just a tutoring service. LDT Learning Solutions approached Stryx Collective to assist them with a Brand & Website Redesign to help communicate their new service offerings and streamline operations.

The brand needed to communicate with new, discerning audiences—primarily parents—and transition from a one-service entity into a holistic educational partner. At the same time, they wanted to reduce the hours spent on tasks like handling manual bookings or payments.

Previous booking solutions took up to 35+ minutes per session to book in, once you account for the manual communication it took to check available times and if they align with the students’ timetable.

The Solution

Stryx Collective implemented a full-scale rebrand, which included renaming the company from LDT Tutors to LDT Learning Solutions.

Brand Redesign Phase

As part of the rebrand, we developed a full Brand kit including:

  • New Brand Name,
  • New Logo Suite (including Submarks and color variants),
  • New Colour Palette,
  • Brand Photography,
  • Brand CI Kit (Email signatures, Business Cards, Letterheads, Presentation Folders, Branded Artwork and more),
  • Social Media Templates,
  • Presentation Templates.

Website Redesign Phase

Once the Brand phase was complete, it was then time for the website redesign. The goal of this phase was to rebuild the site to accommodate the new range of services being offered, as well as streamline the booking process.

Thew new website was designed and built using WordPress for a scaleable and centralised CMS system. This allowed us to built in all of the custom functionality required to implement a fully automated online booking system, enabling online payments an live availability.

This new booking system reduce the time it takes for families to book their sessions by as much as 85%.

The website is now designed for scalability, is SEO optimised, offers E-Commerce functionality, and accepts online bookings. Allowing LDT Learning Solutions to run their business more effectively and with less headaches.

The Result

Having worked with Stryx Collective, LDT Learning Solutions now enjoys a brand that is better aligned with its target market and communicates its service offerings from the start.

The online booking system has eliminated hours of administrative work and organic traffic on the site has seen a noticeable uplift.

The new website platform has empowered LDT Learning Solutions to continually offer new services, and there are now plans for future exciting features being added in phase two of the project!
